There’s always someone making things a bit more difficult. Real life stories, and some advice about avoiding these charming people.
The Great Depression took away everything from a lot of people, including their happiness and their dignity. They had to survive any way they could, even having to hunt animals to eat.
Low paying jobs and the Working Poor were a sort of hobby issue, prior to the meltdown. Now, the problem is a lot more obvious, as people struggle with a terrifying economic disaster.
The employment market is pretty archaic, and inefficient. It needs reform, and this recession might just have the right amount of political and economic kick to do that.
A niche is a place where you really fit in, where your talents and character are your biggest assets. Try getting in on the ground floor of industries where your interests can take you to the top, quite literally.
If the Depression itself was bad enough, finding a job was arguably worse. Taking time of from the fun of poverty to look for work wasn’t too easy, either.
