What if personality test results don't match the career I want?

Personality test results are often disappointing, but this may not be your fault. Do not allow an algorithm to determine what you do for the rest of your life. Although career personality tests are useful, they are simply tests. They are generated using formulas and are therefore not the final decision maker. Consider whether you answered each question truthfully or if you skewed the results. Also, take many tests. Each one is different. One test may simply not account for your personality test. That said, consider why you want the career that you want. If you know what career you want, taking a personality career test may be unnecessary.
