| I have a phone interview next week with a company in a different state from the one I live and I am not sure what to answer if they ask me "why do you want to work for us?". It is a state where I would like to live but only two hours away from where I live now. Good salary and benefits at 40% more than what I currently gain and the position is a step above the position I have now but I am sure that my qualifications fulfill the required. To be honest the primary reason I want this position is because of the salary increase. I'm confused as to how I should answer because obviously they won't employ a person only for income interest.### |

Well there you go, you have your reason! You stated them yourself 
Ok...first of all, whenever going to an interview, keep in mind you have to praise the company first and then the other things. So it would be a good idea to start with I want to work within your company because It is a prestigious institution in which I believe I can exercise and develop my etc etc etc...competitive environment so on so on....
Then...you can start the reasons above. |
