I am always confused as to how I should answer the question "what is your greatest accomplishment?" in an interview. I always go blank but when I think about it I do not really know what to respond. Its not like I have done nothing in my whole life which can be considered as an accomplishment but most cannot be classified as work related. Can anyone tell me what they have answered so far to this question.###

Start a list of your small accomplishments, like completing a certain level in education, getting a small job, having a family, learning a musical instrument, etc. Make a long list, and don't worry about which are big or small, just list them all.

Then sit down and sort them out. Maybe get a family member or friend to help. Most of us cannot really see the good things we do and need an outsider to hold up a mirror so we can see the accomplishments we have made.

Your greatest accomplishment does not have to be something job related and can be personal. Maybe you have lost fifty pounds? Well, in relating that to a job it shows perseverance and dedication to goals. Think hard, I am sure you have something [several somethings] that are great accomplishments.

Ahz...you'd be surprised to find out how many things you have done up to now can be considered accomplishments! Start from here and see forward:

Also...have in mind the profile of the job you are searching for and try to mention something which is related to that, in order to enhance your chances to job eligibility.
Good luck and lots of inspiration!
