I have been trying various methods to deal with extreme work pressure, I work a stock broker and I drink red bull instead of water (just like in the movie) About 5 months ago I had a minor heart attack, I had to take 3 weeks off.
I was aware that if I do not do something to reduce stress or at leasst create a betetr environment. Some body told me

and it does we use a combo of pop music in the morning and classical in the afternoon to adjust to all tastes in the office. I would really emphaises that
music will relieve job stress, together with exercise and a good eatnig habits.
Music will relieve job stress, but make sure that all your collegaues like the music you are playing or it will only increase it !!

Here in sweden many working places have a radio playing all day as this also relieves stress and gives people something other than the work to talk about. I think its a good idea.
We also dress casual which is good I think because having to wear a suit and skirts and things isn't good for stress because you dont relax as good. |

I'm no doctor but sounds like you need a vacation. Oh ya, drinking the Red Bull probably doesn't help either.
I probably shouldn't be talking because I work non-stop and haven't taken a vacation ever. My rationale is: i can relax when i am 30.
As for music, i'm not sure what type is best; it probably just depends on the individual. I know for me, I have specific songs I play to help me through certain moods.
Music is a lifesaver. |
