Hi mikey
That sort of work is unfortunately relatively rare, and generally comes packaged as "get paid for reading email", with other work attached or not.
Because the New Economy jobs are only just coming onstream, the jobs tend to be put together more like office jobs.
The legitimate work angle is very relevant. I've done a lot of customer service work myself, and most of what I've seen on offer isn't worth touching. Rates of pay are rarely given, the businesses can be scams.
If you do this sort of work, btw, use Paypal, not your bank account. I found a job like that recently, and it was a pure scam, working under the name of a real business, a big name company, too, So be careful.
One possibility is you could put an ad on sites, like the jobs wanted part of this forum, tell people what you want, so you're out there, at least.
Another is networking/canvassing. Ask around with major employers, particularly corporates with busy websites. They get deluged with emails, so they might be thinking along those lines, or something similar. You can get advice about what they can offer in that field, anyway. |
