Hi,

Should I Wait it out or actively seek a new job?

Recently I have joined Microsoft as a software programmer. I am very much satisfied with this company. I am enjoying my role as a programmer. I have completed my first 90 days on the job. Currently I am working as a contractor. I am very meticulous at work and have good planning skills. I am known for my organized way of working. I never waste my time and always-on time as far as deadlines are concerned. But I am afraid of getting laid off because I am on contract. I want permanent IT job. Therefore I have applied in other companies.

Please tell me how can I get higher paying permanent jobs in IT industry?

IT is not my forte, I am an art based person. But maybe this will be a useful resource to you. If you have not mentioned that you like it there but are worried about your future because you are contracted, there's no time to talk to someone like now.

Actually what I'm going to give you is how to get higher paychecks, no matter the domain:

But....if you have been in the 90 days probation period and you did fine, how comes they are nt hiring you?

Yes, those are some good negotiation tips to check out from sweet life.
There are good jobs out there for you with the skills you have got. But see what you can do where you are currently at first.
