Hello,

I have recently got a new job. But after joining this company I have realized that this is not what I want. I want to leave this company in my probation period of 3 months. I know the importance of first 90 days on the job but I cannot continue this job.

Please advice me how to leave this company in the first 90 days without hurting anyone's Feelings.

Why are you worried about hurting someone's feelings???
If it is not right and you have another job to go to, then get out of there. It is respectful if you can give them notice, but if it is not your thing then it is not your thing. No point in hanging around.

Just check what this Comany's notice period for the notice period & submit your resignation accordingly.

If you don't have another job offer, you may want to stay at this company until you find another job. It is usually easier to find a job when you already have. Also, you are usually in a better position to negotiate a higher salary at the new company if you are currently working.

But they are more than right!

1. Who said anything about the importance of the first 90 days of work?
2. What feelings?
3. Have you signed a contract? You said you were in your probation period.

I was in the same situation about 3 mos ago. I thought the job was great at first but when you are in the actual job, it is a whole different situation. I left the job after a week. I didn't have a job to go to but I continued to look and I did find a the job that I love. Don't give up!!!!

Not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings is commendable, but don't hurt yourself, either.

lilo's quite right about whether you signed a contract. If so, you might have to hang in there, like it or not.

You have a couple of options:

1. You can just give notice, quit, and leave, if that's possible.

2. If not, you can quit when you get notification of the probation period being completed. (That's a legitimate out, it's your call.)

However- Remember we're currently looking at a recession. I don't know if you've been unemployed during a recession, but I have, and it's no fun at all.

I promise you, you need to jump from a job to a job, not just straight out the door. Particularly if this is one of your first jobs, and you don't have much on your CV. It can make your work record look patchy.

Try and have something waiting for you when you leave, and make sure you're not shooting yourself in the foot.
