Contrary to popular belief, there isn't too much difference between the content in a CV and resume. The only, real difference is that a CV tends to have slightly more details.
In your CV, you're going to need the following:
Personal details, (name, address, contact numbers, etc.)
A brief introductory paragraph, (often referred to as a profile). This should be around 4-7 lines in length and should highlight your key "selling points"
Details of your employment in reverse-chronological order (most recent first), distinguishing between responsibilities and achievements
Details of any recent and relevant academic achievements / professional development courses
With regards to hobbies - only include these if they specifically relate to the job / industry you're interested in...in your case, child care.
Finally, you mentioned you took a year out of child care. What did you do during this period? |
