|

| Alright well I'm just another teen in my junior year (11th grade) of high school. I plan on studying abroad in Japan but the problem is I have no clue why, maybe because it's fun. But i'm a very studious person but i have no clue in which career to puruse. I think i should figure this out by now, but when people ask of my interests, to tell you the truth i'm not too sure myself. Maybe some jobs that are in demand in Japan that pays descently? Techonlogy? Medicine? Business? What careers in those fields or other do you think i Should do? Not really my dream but my parents want me in the medical field, i enjoy business but not yet at least to the extent that i want to do a job in business. Well, any advice would help. Thanks. |

Depending on the college you go to, you do not necessarily have to pick a specific job as much as a field of study, so quit worrying about the specific job part for now. Ask your guidance counselor to give you some career tests that might help you discover the career path that is right for you, or go to the library and see if you can find a book of them and explore them on your own if you have a guidance counselor that is not very helpful.
After this, start checking out the types of schools in Japan and colleges here that offer exchange programs to Japan in case you decide you want to only do part of your schooling there, should finances get tight or you get homesick.
You have a lot of work ahead of you, but if this is your goal stay focused and you can make it happen!
