What does this mean? After my second appeal hearing (after I was granted unemployment benefits) the appeal tribunal found that I was constructively discharged for "cause." It states that I am inelligible for benefits from 10/21/07 - 12/15/2007 and have a reduced benefit amount. Does this sound like I still get benefits but the total amount has been reduced because of the new decision from the re-trial?

I have been unemployed since 10/25/2007. When I call the unemployment hotline it states that I still have a balance good through 10/2008. Any thoughts?

That is what it sounds like to me. Have you tried to contact anyone at UC for clarification? They would be best to explain it to you. But that is what it sounds like to me. I am not sure why they decided to reduce your benefits, which is another reason you may want to inquire about when you get them to finally sit and discuss things with you.
