This is a matter of the right targeting.
You have some obvious sales experience, but marketing and sales aren't necessarily the same thing, in context with this job. You need to indicate some experience in the marketing area, or a related field. Sales is OK, but there are only two mentions, and they don't seem to fit the website environment.
Depending on the job, the communications area is also a bit blank, like no direct communications qualifications or other related material. I'd add whatever you have, anything that you know relates to the communications part of the job. Obviously you have some communications skills having worked in the managerial role, but they're not shown.
Generally, I think you should spell out your employment record, and show your skills and achievements more clearly.
In detail:
Skills Summary: When, where, and with whom ?
Achievements: Same as skills summary. Particularly emphasize anything in marketing and communications.
Education:
1988 University of Applied Sciences ..., Geoinformatics (Degree?)
• 2001 Fernuniversität ..., Wirtschaftswissenschaft (Degree?)
• 2004 University ..., Online MBA (Which university?)
I think the lack of this information could undermine your obvious career record.
From the look of this CV, you know your IT. You know at least some sales, and you have direct experience in managerial work. Your technical side is good.
But it's not clear that you'd be a natural choice for Marketing/Communications in website management.
If you have direct experience of input into the actual website, or anything to do with it, you need to establish your connection to the job's role and duties.
I don't want to sound too negative, but these are clear priorities. |
