Hello everyone...
Now I got the Australian working permit, and I wonder how the best way to approach my situation for my CV.
My latest professional position in Indonesia was a Managing Director of an advertising agency and I have had around 12 years working experience in advertising & marketing with an MBA degree from a top Australian University. Now I am moving to Australia.
Due to cultural background, language barrier (though my english is not bad) as well as lack of network, I understand that I need to build a strong foundation for my career and I need to build my network in Australia. Hence, I'm willing to "downgrading" myself, and re-start from manager level. My question is, what do I need to do with my CV, because my real CV would look too over-qualified. How do I address my intention to learn and build strong foundation by "downgrading" myself without looking desperate or negative, but making them buying my argument which is a real valid reason.
I would really appreciate if anyone can give any good suggestion based on experience. I would not be happy to hear "you're over-qualified" and therefore I'd like to prepare well now.
Thanks a lot guys!
