Hello!

I got fired from my sales job along with 3 other people that didn't make there quota back in February when the economy was really slow.

Ever since I've been looking for jobs not having any luck. Its seems like everything I find is either a scam or it doesn't pay good.

I have 7 years of sales and customer service experience and I feel like should make at least what I was making at my last job 33k. I don't feel like that's to much for my experience but all the jobs I have applied for lately have either not called me back or called back with some scam offer.

I didn't finish college but I feel like I can do anything I want. I think its time for me to get out of sales and customer service. I'm just having trouble finding jobs that would value the same skills and pay well.

Well thats why i'm here If you guys have any advice for me its more than welcome.

Yes, the economy is definitely harsh. In some areas it's worse than others. There are people that are debating if we are in a recession or not; I'm certain we are. I would say if the sales thing isn't appealing to you then try to find your niche in another area, maybe take some courses or explore a new career path. But the economy is rough and not getting much better.
Sorry to hear.

Hi

HAve you found a job yet?

its the ame here, In North Dorset. near on 5 years customer service and telesales experiance. and nothing. we're looking for above 14k a year. maybe 13k at a push. but the shear amoutn of people applying is ridiculous!
Even shops dont want him to stack shelves!

Tho most jobs are about 30 miles away, which unless its paid well, theres no point as of the cost in petrol getting there and back!!
