Hello everyone! Lovely day in Arizona, but soon to no longer be in AZ. New to this site, so I am unsure of how I should introduce myself... how about.. confused about the future as far as my career goes..? Works for me, how about all of you? I suppose I am not confused about it, just, I am 20 years and have been for 6-7 years been trying to figure out what I want to do with my life as far as a career goes. Done all those sort of tests that tell you what you would be good at, and had a hard time finding any which would match my personality and my likes.. so.. what do I do now? 20 Years old, stuck in a tiny town and unable (and not wanting) to attend a 4 year college. Have a beautiful daughter and the love of a wonderful man, whom has his career and is wanting to move out of state to find better opportunities with his career. I just need some help, I've found things, but have been unable to stick to them. Though some of my career choices haven't been turned down, just I have no experience in certain things, so I don't know if I would even be able to break into them at all.

UGH! What's a girl to do!? I want to support my family in the best possible way, but I need a career to do so the way I want to! Please, someone help me out!!!

Education could be an answer, although college is not the only answer to this.
Distance education, Technical Institute, Vocational Institute - will prepare you for a career.

If your man wants to look for opportunities than support home, now is the chance in your life to do this. This could be an opportunity for you as much as for him.

Un-sure what to do, is normal. We all are in a way or another. 20 years old is very young.

Are you sure about what you do __not___ want to do ? << Could be a good idea to find your ideal job by eliminating the ones you do not want to do. If education is out of the question, then you can also eliminate the ones that require a college degree. Create a list. Do you like your options ?

I am new to this board as well. When I was 20, I was in the same boat as you. I had no idea what I want to be or what I wanted to do. I just knew I wanted to make money. I started to network and talk to everyone I met about different opportunities. I actually got an opportunity to work at a small consulting firm and was able to learn the the business from the ground up. What happened is that opportunity lead to something which lead to something else. The best advice I can give is to do something, don't sit idle hoping that the perfect job will fall in your lap, try something, . This does not have to what you do for the rest of your life. You have to build a career and you have to start somewhere.
Good Luck,
Daniel
