Hi guys,
I think it’s time for a career change. It has been good for two years, but I haven’t gotten a raise in a while and the price of gas is hurting me. When I moved to Nz (New Zealand for all of those who don’t know), this was the first job I could get my hands on so I took it, but now I want out.

I’ve heard of companies that will actually find a new job for you if you give them your resume and CV. This site has been helpful so far in putting together those things.
I know that the biggest industries in New Zealand are health, education, and business services like temp agencies and data processing services.  I’m stuck because my current boss has been really good to me. I am thinking of taking him out to dinner to tell him- I still want to be on good terms. I don’t have many friends here in Nz, and I want to keep the good ones! Thanks to anyone who can help me with my career change!
Alec

Sometimes a temp service can help, as can certain job placement agencies in certain fields. You may consider seeing if one of these companies can help you find a different job if there is a need to find a job in a different field and you do not want to search on your own? I would try searching on my own first though. Often times a temp job does have the potential to turn into something more permanent.
