Hi, welcome to CV Tips! Yeah, retail and call centers aren't for everybody. Some people love it, some break out in a rash. The people that hate it really shouldn't do it. I've run a call center on a project, and really, it's an acquired taste.
Suggestions:
1. Figure out where you want to go with your life. You're young enough to maneuver yourself into a position you can do something you like, not get stuck in jobs for the sake of jobs.
2. Check out qualifications for what you want to do, and stack those up against what you've got.
3. Do some research about where the career can take you. You could start off with a limited set of options, do a course or two, and wind up with a lot of options.
It's really how you set it up that matters. It's definitely not rocket science, but there's a lot of information that you need to put it all together.
When you pin down what you want, we've got about half the planet here, and someone will be able to help. Meanwhile, browse around, particularly the careers and on the job sections, it doesn't get dull. |
