Hi All
Just some advice if possible,
I have been for a job interview for a Freight Operator , its basically to join a company's branch that only has 1 person in it , so its to come in and help shape the branch , hands on at all levels and take it from there , in the interview which I thought went really well , the Interviewer (the other worker at the branch) said about salary and that they would pay any reasonable wage to get the `right person` , he then made a joke about "unless it was 50k a year then we may have to say no"
I have been given a second interview and it was agreed at the first interview , by me really , that salaries would be discussed at a second interview , I think they liked this as it showed that I was interested in the role first and foremost
Now my Question is , I have already told them in the covering letter that I am on 19k p/a at the minute , I haven't told them yet that there is a potential bonus every months of around £300-400 which if reached would put me on roughly 22500 p/a , and coupled with the fact I am trying to improve my salary anywhere not just my job , I am unsure of what to ask for , I think I'm worth to start between 23-26k but I do really want this job so I daren't price myself out
Does anyone have any advice on how to tread on this as I really don't want to let the opportunity slip !
Many Thanks
