I don't know i anyone here can help, but I have a question. I recently received my check for weeks ending 1/17 and 1/24. I claimed this check on 1/26. The document attached to the check says I need to claim my next check on 2/4 for week ending 1/31. I'm confused as to why a. I have to claim on a Wednesday instead of a Monday, and b. Why is the claim only for one week?

Now I honestly don't have a good grasp of the EUC concept, but the way I read it is that I still have a remaining claim balance. I know the extension is only for 7 weeks, but this would only be my fifth week into the extension. Can anyone possibly offer some insight into this? I've tried contacting NJUI, but we all know how hard it is to get through to them. Thanks in advance.

Unless they are changing their cycling and payout dates, or there is some holiday I am not thinking of, I do not know of anything that would affect you. You mentioned it being an extension, but I don't think that should affect you either. Check their website first, then you might have to make that painful phone call that I am not sure is worth waiting on hold for hours. You might be better off to just follow instructions rather than to just question it? They might also be trying to alleviate some of their paperwork by switching dates on some of it or something; I know a lot of the states are swamped with claims right now.

I'm thinking you're probably right. My claim weeks are different than they used to be. My former co-worker was claiming opposite weeks during my initial claim and now we are claiming on the same week. So maybe it's getting switched.

And yes, i've tried calling and I can never get through. Thanks for the advice and i'll post here when I find out more.
