There are a few things that don’t look right with this offer. This is a pay service, costs $55 to get your resumes and CVs posted. The site refers to posting on several sites which don’t charge for posting. Maybe the idea is to pay for posting on so many sites, but it works like a letter drop, not necessarily to a targeted market. Some of the sites listed are very highly specialized, and you could be posting your retail CV on a biology site.

In practice, this could be a case of auto posting your CV all over the world, perhaps on sites you’ve never heard of, and there are security issues involved. Posting your resume on unknown sites can lead to some unwanted attention from people who offer jobs which are either illegal or scams. You need to know how to deal with sites, under those circumstances, and you can also find yourself talking to police about these things.

The overall impression is that you pay for something you don’t really need to pay for, and have little or no control over where your info, which can include personal identification, is posted. We suggest giving this a miss.

Hi,

Just to defend the service that we offer, referring to that two points that you made.

Your resume will be out there available to everyone, but the only real information will be your email address (one that we create for this purpose), this way you may choose to whom you respond or do not.(this is optional)

About why pay?, well the purpose is that our experience has shown us which sites are real, and which sites are true scams. Most importantly posting your resume constantly on 100 sites will prove to be a tedious task, because of the estimated 60 hours of research and actual posting.

Also its not like we are charging 400 dollars for a resume service or something of the sort, our service has proven valuable and affordable to many.

I encourage everyone to check it out for themselves.

Thanks,

First off I have never used this service but it doesn't look like anything that I would be concerned about.

It comes down to whether you want to take the time to submit your resume to tons of sites or do you want to pay someone to do it.

Hi

Just a query in relation to below, if someone posts their CV to 100 sites, are they not putting themselves at risk of not being taken seriously. A jobseeker would lose total control of their CV and where it is going. Are the sites selected the best sites out there? Are individuals bombarded by job-updates?

Im just wondering what control mechanisms are in place? Any recruiter will tell you that it is a nitemare when a jobseeker doesnt pay heed to where their CV is going.....

Would like your thoughts

Thanks

Its never a good idea to upload resumes on websites you dont trust. You never know what they are using your personal details for. There are lots of scams out there. It is always good to search jobs from websites and then contact the employer directly. http://eemployer.net is one such job search engine where you get thousands of job listings and you can contact the employer directly. Nevertheless there are reputed engines like monster.com which can be trusted as well.
