Greeting to all.
I recently got accepted for the preselect interview. Before that, I am going to attend a pre-interview reception, in which many interviewer will show up also. I'd like to know what should I prepare for this 2-hour reception session. Thanks.

What sort of reception is it? Is it something like "grab a plate of hors d'oeuvres and mill around"?

I would think you'd really want to take the opportunity to brush up on the company--what they do, their accomplishments, and who the key names are. Then, when you're talking to an interviewer, you can bring these things up.

I would also advise you to be really friendly with the other people there. Yes, they are your competition, but it'll look good for you if you are seen to be friendly.

Hi there,

Pre-interview selection...interesting. I would say it is a way for the employers to see your abilities. Think that maybe they are in search of a team, for example, then Katja is right when she says you have to be polite.
My advice don't be cocky, don't boast about anything, keep your eyes and ears open and think in perspecive. An interviewer will be there definitely.
Then...there might be some questions and the interviewer wants to see whether you can face the crowd to answer them. Or maybe they are looking for smart answers.
Anyway...it will be a very good idea to be yourself...as much as possible.
