could you give me a couple of advices for my covering lecter
i should send it within the 15th of november....i am desperate!!!
i am looking for a trainship at the European medicines agency in london
this is the covering letter i should attach to my cv
Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing to present myself as a candidate for the EMEA in-service training.
My name is --------I am 24 years old and I am from Italy.
I graduated in Pharmacy with full marks (110/110) in July 2005, at the --------- I made an experimental thesis in experimental pharmacology. I have gained valuable experiences , working for 1 year from September 2005 to September 2006 in a public pharmacy in Italy, enriching my knowledge about italian and european pharmaceutical legislation.On 25th of September 2006 I have been choosen for an internship at GlaxoSmithKline (UK) with a Leonardo-Unipharma research grant provided by the university of Rome "La Sapienza" therefore at present I am working in Glaxo SmithKline, a pharmaceutical multinational, where I am acquiring knowledge in research-based companies in the development stage of new medicinal products, protocols development, and quality and safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
I am being trained at Lead Optimization, Asthma Rhinitis Biology, RI CEDD department at GlaxoSmithKline, Stevenage United Kingdom,my research (P-R-O-J-E-C-T >private and confidencial< )and this project will last within the end of February.
My mother tongue is Italian and I have a fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
I have a Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (World, Excel, Powerpoint) and of Adobe Photoshop and an excellent knowledge of Internet (literature searches,
pharmaceutical, istitutional, national and european web sites).
I would be interested in working for European Medicines Agency (EMEA) to learn how to contribute to the regulation of therapeutics goods.

than these are my motivations, to attach to the application form why i chose the placement :
I am very interested in becoming a part of the European Medicines Agency's team. I belive in the EMEA purpose and in its history in the preservation of public health.My degree in Pharmacy and my experience should fit in with the EMEA goals and enable me of comprehending and execute all the possible teaching received during the training.My choice is oriented to the Unit for the Pre-Authorisation of Medicines for Human Use to learn about the marketing authorisation,
procedures for medicines in the European Union, the scientific criteria
for assistance to companies researching and developing of new therapies, regulatory guidelines for the pharmaceuticals industry and Coordination with national authorities
for the harmonisation of regulatory requirements for medicines, whilst i have choosen the Scientific Advice and Orphan Drugs Sector (SAOD) mainly because the coherence of the experience I am gaining in development pharmaceutics and process validation during the trainingship in GlaxoSmithKline but i may be open to more than one option also.
