|
|
Hi I am an Automotive Apprentice in Canada I am a 3rd period and have experience on various Japanese models of cars. I have been studying the Japanese language and culture for some time now as well and have a basic spoken and written Japanese level.
I would like to know if there is any way I can tranfer to Japan and complete my apprenticeship there. Or at least do some of it. What would I need to do??
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

| I believe that you should search for japanesse automobile companies in your region and go to some interviews for related job to your skills. After you are employed and you work sometime you should request a transfer in Japan so this way you could finish your apprenticeship there. |

I agree...the closest way of getting there is presenting your intentions and skills to a company, either a worldwide one or a Canadian one which exercits its services in Japan as well. It's practically impossible not to find one. Then....if you say you handle pretty well the language, you can even send online resumes to Japanese companies, offering your services, especially that you probably handle well English and French. As far as I know, companies train their staff, so as long as you find a way of getting there and "working" with one, I wouldn't worry too much about "apprenticing".
Good luck! |
