Hi, Im Shaun, im 15 years old and i live in hull, i am looking for a local job on saturday or sunday. I already have a GCSE in Bacs ( Bussiness And Communication Systems. All Work Considered.

You're doing pretty well to have that qualification at your age. Have you considered doing some freelance work in your area? It'd pay a lot better than the average weekend work for 15 year olds, and get some CV credentials while you're at it.

Suggest you have a bit of a ferret around, see who's looking for help in these areas. Local businesses and accountants would be a good start, the sort of people who are forever having problems with their comm stuff.

In systems work, the more you can show as proven skills, the better, particularly at entry level, a couple of years from now. You should be able to talk the local comm companies into something in the way of a job, if you want to just do the weekend work.

There is work there, if you can find it. We've had a few other guys from the UK, some even younger than you, one of whom is a computer expert and another's done beta testing on MMORPGs. I can say it will be worth your while, both in terms of money and to put some effort into a good scout around, see what you can find.
