Hey, i'm Jessica.
I'm 16 years old and finished my GCSE's in June 2008.
I've been looking around for a job for a while now and i can't seem to get one.
I'm really desperate for a job as i want to become more independent, instead of relying on my mum and dad for money.
I have many qualities such as:
- hardworking
- good listener
- punctual
- good communication skills
and so on.
I spent 2 weeks at a dental surgery for my work experience.
I loved every minute of it and learnt a lot.
I love keeping busy, helping people as well as learning new things.
I personally think i am a sensible and reliable person,
i just hope someone can help me
Thanks.

hii.
i am 14, also from the wakefield area.
in retail etc there is usually a lot in this area.
have you tried xscape and freeport/junction 32 in castleford?
there are usually a lot of vacancies advertised in windows there.
the ridings may also be a good place to try.
you may be able to get a job in one of the towns, depending where in wakefield you live, as some will be closer than others.
you could also waitress at places like rogerthorpe manor, wentbridge house, kings croft or beverly arms, cock and crown or other places, again depending on where you live, and what positions are available.
what kind of work are you looking to do? and i can try and help advise some other places in the area. and what areas of wakefield?
hope this helps
