are you sure you do the job that you want 2 do and if they are do you do the job properly because some people need certain things that you need to be able to do. |

| Sarah, Wednesbury's quite a big shopping centre isn't it? I drive past quite often. Many of the warehouse type shops take school kids on for Saturdays - Currys and B & Q I know do this for certain. Don't bother looking for vacancy signs, go in and ask for the duty manager, don't speak to an assistant. The manager will know the latest job situation. Good luck. |

I'm 14, living in the u.k my whole life, on the same island in-fact, and i recently managed ( at last ) to find a saturday job, which may not be in the most classiest of places ( a fish and chip shop ) but still, its £37 a week extra i get from doing a paper round which is also paying out £26 a week considering the fact i do two paper rounds not just the one.
But getting to the point of reply, I did get this saturday job as simply by walking in, ordering a portion of chips and then asking whether they would like any help on saturdays? I got asked my age, my name and then for my telephone number, which i happily scrawled down on a piece of paper for them, i got a phone call that same evening and was asked if i could turn up for four hours every saturday evening ( 5pm - 9pm ) which was perfect. And not only do i get £37 a week to put towards too getting a motorbike, but also i get free chips - as long as i dont take the mick, my boss used much more colourful language |
