I am 15 years old, I will be 16 in August
I live in Mountain Ash
I am looking for a job on the weekend to get some extra money as I will be soon going for study leave.
When I finish for study leave on the 8th of May I will be able to do more shifts as long as they do not clash with my exams.
I currently have 6GCSEs so far, they are 4Bs in Engineering and 2Cs in Science.
If there are any offers please write to me on xxxxxxx
Thank you[/b] |

Hi,
I'm a 15 yr old female living in Reading (Berkshire) and I am currently looking for a regular saturday job as I need to start saving up money for my prom and many other things.
I currently have a very part time job with a catering company, The work included in that is:
Food prep
Silver service waitressing
bussing
and more
However this is only every once in a while so this isn't enough to save up money with.
I am currently taking a total of 12 GCSEs and getting A/A* in practically all of them
I am doing:
Maths
English (2)
Triple Science (3)
Drama
German
Food Technology
IT (2)
RE
Hopefully there will be someone who can offer me a saturday job.
I am a very hard working and concientious student, and strive to do the best in whatever it is I do.
my email is xxxxxxxxxx

Sorry about the edit, this whole thread seems to have had emails on it, but they weren't supposed to be there. We don't allow personal contacts on the site, because of the risk of phishing and possible abuse. This thread is very old, dating back to 2006, and it's a museum piece. Suggest you do a new post, where readers can see it's current.
The idea is that employers contact you through the site and show some credentials, like a website, etc, so you can check them out and make sure they're what they claim to be.
Have you tried the fast food stores? The jobs may not be spectacular, but you get training and some work skills you can use to get other jobs. If you work at it, you can even get management experience.
I did a review of the jobs scene around Newcastle, and there are a few things around, but it's definitely tough.

Your best shot is to talk to the big retailers, or larger organizations with good recruiting systems. They're better organized, and they've got in house training and HR people who have local knowledge. Newcastle City Council might have some ideas, too. |
