I do have this question and I've asked a lot, but I am not quite satisfied with the answers. Here almost all CV have to have a photo, no matter the what kind the job it is. I am not so comfortable with it because I am pretty Laughing , but I hate photos and I don't look nice in them... Mad

What kind of CV do you have?

I don't understand why they need a photo?! if you are not in public relation, or if you don't work directly with the clients...

That's a german flag, so I'm assuming the OP is german. In germany they use CV instead of a resume as they do in the UK. In germany however, it is expected to have a photo. The OP should probably just find the best photo possible, and not worry about it.

In most countries a photo is not required, unless in certain circumstances. Are you saying in Germany it is a must for each CV? If it's a must, try to get a photo that looks professional.

If it is a must, have photos taken until you get a good shot.

Why not give a great impression by making sure that the photo is retouched first before putting it on your CV. This doesn’t have to be a celebrity style of “airbrushing” but rather to give the photo a professional/studio quality look. Fly-away hairs and spot removal can be done of course. Adding a subtle amount of vibrancy or converting it to a stunning black and white image can help make it eye-catching.
