Mid 2008 I started my own, online, multilingual recruitment service targeting the English and multilingual job market in Holland (Netherlands) and cross border. Since Holland is home to many multinational companies there are relatively many English and multilingual jobs for non-Dutch speakers. And therefore many multilingual recruitment agencies.

Most demand is in IT, engineering and customer service, however finance and sales/marketing are also areas offering opportunities for multilingual recruitment. However it does make a difference whether you're a EU/EER national or not. Non-EU nationals will need a work permit and not every employer is inclined to arrange one which complicates job hunting in Holland.

If you want to know more about me check out my LinkedIn profile:
www.linkedin.com/in/nielsjordens (you can also find me on Facebook and Plaxo).

You can also follow my tweets (www.twitter.com/DutchRecruiter), and for more info on for example work permit issues as mentioned, just check my site: www.careersinholland.com. Thanks.

Kind regards,

Niels Jordens
