So after quiting education for a year, and having gone back to college to get my AS levels, I got myself an A in French and B's in Spanish and Economics, although it's really done a fat lot of good.

I'm at the stage now where I'm looking for universities, but I have absolutely no idea what to do..

I want to do something in business, so I don't want to do just languages as I feel it would put me at a disadvantage for job searching in the future as I wouldnt have a financial degree of any sort.

I can't do economics because I don't have mathematics, although I really enjoy this subject and I'm pretty sure I'd like to use it and a language in the future, but the thing is I don't have the necessary AS to do a course in it.

Not sure whether it would be better to skip university, if I can't get onto a good course and try for an internship somewhere perhaps?

Feedback much appreciated.

Regards.

You mentioned that you like business but you do not like math. There is a lot more to business than math. What about administration? You could do project management. I suggest going ahead with more schooling and seeking out the wisdom of some of the career counselors at the school to help you decide. Another good thing to do in your spare time is take some career based tests that might help lead you in the right direction. You mgiht discover your future job path thru one of them.

You need to set some boundaries in order to direct your energy towards a specific domain. For this, you need to see what you can, want and have the possibility to do. A major is always useful, if you ask me.Don't compare a uni diploma to an internship....
