I am 23 and my whole life has been focused around music. When I was 6, I developed a talent for playing the piano, became very good and never really looked back. This year I graduated from a london music college with a first.

Now I've finished, I've realised that I have been completely ignoring my future. I know it sounds stupid but only now I realise that I didn't really think about what I wanted to do for a living.

For the last few months since graduating, I have been considering puruing a career in Investment Banking. I know it sounds stupid but I am genuinely interested in what goes on in IB. I dont have any experience or qualifications of any kind to get me started in the career though.

I know that it might be the hardest thing in the world for a music graduate to become a good IB but I am so determined to get there that I am ready to tackle anything and learn skills and truly commit myself until I'm happy. I know it will be hard but I think it's better to sort myself out now rather than make do with a crappy unrewarding career in music or decide later.

What does anyone else think? Am I right to think this way? What would be my next best step? More Study? Or/and find work experience?Any advice would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks
