hi there
i wonder if someone can help me. I work in a big multinational in Ireland. I have worked there for 4 years. I am a supervisor of a specific area in a call centre setting. Last year, I got a pay increase of 9% in my annual review and Significant rating. The year before last I got Exceptional as my rating in my review.

Today i just had my review and receive 3.5% pay increase and a Solid rating. My work has not really changed although my role has got quieter in last year, at which point I advised my manager and she got me involved in a new project. Currently I am working on this new project and I have been told today in my review that she would like me to take over the duties of this girl as she is going on maternity leave in 3 months time.

I was very dissappointed with both my rating and pay increase. Has anyone any advice? There was no mention of any financial reward of taking over this girls maternity duties even though she will not be replaced. I mentioned feeling demotivated but at the end of the review, when my pay increase was mentioned I was very disappointed but left and did not say anything about it at that point.
