I have always been good in math but I am not sure whether I want to just do math math math like in the engineering fields. Computers and technology has always intrigued me but I can't sit still at all to be able to do that for long periods of time (I am Sagittarius if you feel like attributing credibility to astrology) . I have never been much interested in gov't/law, and careers in money/economics, while it might be suitable, holds me down to earth to much. I am fascinated with space and all of physics, but I am not overly good at it to be able to be a physicist or astronomer. I am a people person and I love travel and seeing the world. I want to make a lot of money so I can make me and my family well off. Suggestions?

Ever thought about sales? If you are a people person that may be a good field for you. I am not talking about auto or retail sales either. Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Medical device sales are good examples. They all require a degree, but not necessarily an engineering degree. They pay a good salary, plus commission. I have a Mass Communications degree and make an extremely good living working in industrial sales. I suggest you start college without declaring a degree. You will have to do a couple years of regular classes anyway. That will give you some time to decide what you want to do. If you choose a sales route, you will need to work sales jobs while you are in college. Also, you should do an internship in B2B sales. That will give you some good experience and will help you decide if it is right for you. Sales can be a tough field to get started in, but if you are persistent you can be extremely successful. Persistence is key. If you aren't, you won't make it.
