The hardest part of job searching is when you feel the stress that in lots of jobs available there you don't what to do first and the other is expenses.

There's nothing wrong having two jobs, in fact, it is one of the ways to earn more money but the thing is you will have more stress and problems. What if you have family problems, how will you cope with it. For me, it's OK to have two jobs. I should have a time management so that it will not be very stressful.

That's right, if you want a promotion, show them that you deserve it. Do all your works with great and excellent presentation as well as your attitude, show to your co-workers that you have qualities to be a good leader or an employee who deserves to be promoted.

This is a good post. I believe people take the small things for granted. I would add choosing the appropriate colors under "Dress inappropriately". Certain colors don't work for an interview.

    Cheers All !

It takes way too much time to apply to that many jobs. One of my friends is in a pretty bad predicament----11 months out of college and without a job. He's been applying everywhere and gotten a few interviews---but no luck. I told him to change his focus. I did tell him to go out and meet people. I also told him to focus his job search on what he's good at. But most importantly, I also told him to use this time to learn marketable skills. There are jobs out there...it is just that people are not skilled enough to do them so companies are not hiring. This was the case for a few of the jobs he was applying for. He looked good on paper and they called him in for an interview. However, during the interview...he was stumped with technical questions.
