Hello everybody!

I recently wrote in this forum because I was somewhat unhappy with my work environment. Now I've realized that it's actually the job itself which is getting to me. I was told to make a list of things which I am passionate about, and that that would help me find the perfect job. So here goes:

-Languages (I am fluent in 4 languages - English, Norwegian, German, Spanish)
-Graphic Design
-Culture
-Travelling
-IT - I have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop and more..

I have a very international background: I've lived in Brazil, New Orleans, New York, Gran Canaria, England, Norway, Dubai and Frankfurt.

I truly believe that I have a lot to offer, but I have yet to find the official job title. I would really appreaciate ANY suggestions.

Thank you!

That's actually a pretty good idea. I'm definately going to look into what type of career opportunities I have in that field. Thanks for your advice!

Any other suggestions?

Nah...not necessarily a guide, even if the idea is quite good. I would recommend using your IT skills, combined with the design skills. I think you'd earn more money if you work in this field.

So you are suggesting that he can become a webmaster or a programmer? He didn't said that these(web design and it knwoledge) are his main qualities to apply for a job.My oipinion is:if those were his main qualities he should find a job in a week maximum, because there are a lot of comapnies searching for this profile.

Finding a job for me is not just being accepted to fill a position at a company. It's something that I have to feel passionate about. I just can't seem to pinpoint concrete positions that I can apply for. Furthermore, I don't want to send out random applications to companies asking if they might have something for me. In a perfect world, I would have a list of all the jobs I'm qualified for, and I could select the one I "want the most" Rolling Eyes

Cip, since when "IT skills" mean "webmaster or programmer" only? I was thinking of a mixture of skills, in which he should also incluse the IT skills as well. Stop building your questions on my answers or I will get mad.

FrustratedEmployee, I suggest you take a career test or something to see what exactly fits your qualities and all. Because you have shared your skills with us, but the truth is we're not specialists and we don't know everything about jobs. Our help is limited. My opinion is that you should have one or two such tests done and find some suitable jobs. You'll have a look at the name of those jobsa and then you will see whether they are the epithome of a ?perfect job" or not. But...as a last thing....there's no such thing as "perfect, careless job". Good luck!

Perfect, I feel I identify with your but perhaps on a more National level.

Just to give you a hint of why i think so, I have travelled to Moscow, Beirut, Mumbai, Delhi, Dubai, Riyadh and a European trip is on the cards.

Plus my skill set matches yours, however, i am curretly working as an Intellectual Property agent.

Your expertise can work in two ways:

1. As a firm's Corporate Communication Manager - this requires traveling, and interacting at exhibitions (your language skills).

Aslo involves designing websites, brochures and lots of creativity.

Let me know about your progress and hope you can ping me too, with your latest resume. Hope I can myself switch to this field.

Good luck.
