I am 2 years full time study from registering as a psychologist, but as a solo mum with no further access to funds to help complete my studies I need work to get by and to 'hopefully save' Confused . Times are tough everywhere and competition for jobs is high, but I can't bring myself to lie in my career profile to suit the job I go for and in these conditions I'm going for anything. Shall I simply omit the profile? Very Happy

Not that lying on an application is a great idea, either. If it's not relevant, it can be relegated to a background on your CV. It does fill in gaps, so don't omit entirely, but it doesn't need to be emphasized.

You must have some transferable skills to fill the gap from those studies. If you go for HR-related jobs, you might do better. Psych is part of HR, and you'll probably get some understanding, at least.
