Free Career and Job Search Advice

I am trying to switch careers and I am not sure whether I should mention why I demand such a change. It is simply because it is quite hard to find any jobs in that field anymore and plus I am bored but I obviously can't mention that . Would it be acceptable and enough if I just mentioned the insufficient employment opportunities ? Thanks

Yes, that would be sufficient. Try to keep your tone as positive as possible, and limit it to only one or two reasons. They can always ask you to elaborate further during an interview.
