It is depending on the interest rate you have to pay for it, I read somewhere that many college students when leaving are 30k or even 60k in debt. But that depends on the type of degree, time needed and country, in the united states the problem tends to be of a greater magnitude than say the UK, where education is expensive but not quite as high as in the US.
