Hi,
I recently left my last job and have written up a new cv, but seeing as im quite new to the workforce im not very experienced at this i would really like some objective opinions on how my cv looks and any improvments that can be made.

Profile:
A hard working and responsible individual who is very keen to further develop a career in the catering industry and who already has around 8 months experience as a chef. With the responsibility of running his own section in a very popular and busy restaurant, Alex has gained invaluable experience about what it takes to work well in a high pressure kitchen.
Areas of expertise:
- Experience of being able to run two different sections within a busy, high pressure kitchen.
- Experience of being given the responsibility of training less experience kitchen staff who wish to progress.
- Health and hygiene certificate.
- Computer literate.
- Full UK driving licence
- Plans to go back to college to study for A-levels, whilst working part time.
Career History:
Oct 2007 - Nov 2007 Catering Assistant - Digby Trout
Job involved mainly front of house duties but was also required to assist the chef whenever necessary.
Nov 2007 - March 2008 Commis Chef - Thomas Franks ltd
This job was with a contract catering company and involved catering for the students at Shiplake college, which meant catering for around 300 covers twice a day. At Thomas Franks we also catered for private functions including anything from weddings to catering for an nspcc function with a celebrity guest.
March 2008 - July 2008 Commis Chef - Locke Fyne
This job gave invaluable experience about how to work in a busy restaurant kitchen. I went from simply helping with preparation when i first joined to learning how run two separate sections within the kitchen which included all mison plas work and running them during service. As i progressed i was also asked to train less experienced chefs which was also valuable experience.
