Hello all,

i am a german accountant looking for a new job abroad. So im completly new to the system of the english cv, and this is what i came up so for.
I am really unsure about the "Profile" section, so any help, also with overall phrasig will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance, here we go:

Profile
I am an adaptable and ambitious accountant with hands-on approach and an excellent understanding of business finance, keen to take on the daily challenges and rewards in a long-term opportunity.

Experience
Company XXX
Accountant August 2005 – present
The parent company ASSA ABLOY is the global leader in conventional door opening solutions. The Identification Technologies Group is focused on providing state-of-the-art RF-ID systems.
Within the shared service center provided by our group headquarter i am responsible for a couple of subsidiary and sister companies. In this role my duties compromise mainly of the following tasks:
• Account assignment and booking of purchasing invoices
• Reconciling , monitoring and reporting bank account transactions and balances
• Preparing and performing payment runs including cash clearing and inter-company netting
• General ledger bookings (e.g. accruals, fixed assets)
• Providing the monthly provisional added value tax declaration and aiding the external auditor in compiling the annual value added tax and corporate tax declaration
• Assisting Controller and CFO with preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements
• Running the dunning process
• Instructing trainees

During this time i accompanied the introduction of our ERP-system Oracle to a recently bought company. In the course of this process i also optimized the process of the shared service for a off-site production location. Additionally i was responsible for building the back office from scratch for a retail shop planned to open new sales channels for our parent company. Due to this fact i had the chance to learn how to handle another accounting software (Navision) and was able to work closely with the project controller located in the global headquarter in Sweden as well as with the team in the shop.
Based on these experiences and my travelling to affiliated companies located abroad i am used to work in an international environment against high-pressure deadlines, still providing the accuracy and the service orientation needed to satisfy all the requirements of a multinational corporation.

Company XYZ
Qualified tax clerk January 2005 – August 2005
Steuerbüro Lux is a tax counsellor mainly serving small companies, sole proprietorships and individuals.
My major tasks beside the payroll accounting, standard bookkeeping and year-end closings were the tax computations. These were mostly value added tax declarations (monthly and annual) and business and income tax returns. Beside that i dealt with the clients as well as the tax and social insurance authorities and was the first contact person for upcoming questions.

Your Cv looks good, but it lacks some areas. I recommend you should place a career objective at the beginning and you should also include a "summary of qualifications" area right after it. I mean you already have something called "profile" but do detail that and place all the relevant skills you have in there.
