I have no idea how to write an effective CV and cover note to agencies.

Whom should I address my cover letter?

What to include in the content of cover letter?

A cover letter should tell the company why you would be a suitable candidate and what skills you have that may surpass your competition. Think of it as a marketing tool to 'market' yourself to the company that you desire a job from. As for construction of the CV, see below for pointers:
