Do You Always Send a Cover Letter? - I sometimes think that I do not need to send a cover letter. Example when I send my CV by email I usually don't send a cover letter. However I have a friend who works in recruitment and tells me that one should always send it. Is there anyone who can tell me different?###

You should always send a cover letter. It shows a more personal touch and gives more information about you; a resume or CV tends to be brief, and a cover letter is another tool to market yourself with. Make a general copy and modify it to fit each applicaton submission.

The cover letter is a more detailed version of your resume. Also, it is perfectly tailored to the necessities of the job you apply for. It shows your intention, what makes you the perfect candidate. The discourse you are enabled to include in your cover letter makes this "instrument" to offer you 50% of the job already. You know how words can make the woprld move sometimes, imagine a powerful and convincing cover letter. Imagine yourself as a product which needs to be advertised using the best words possible. Needless to continue, I'm sure you got my point Wink

You can never go wrong with a cover letter!

Cover letters are important most people prefer cover letters and is the main target of the job, if you was to send in spec letters (google spec letters examples) thats the junk annoying things that i have to do at this course that is for asking if they have a job, a cover letter is a backing letter telling why you would like to work at the company etc (google cover letter examples for help). a CV covers all secters of past work, what your good at etc (google CV examples or CV help) a application is sometimes best covered by a CV or/and cover letter as well

hope this helps
