Veronica-

Here's a link to the Dept of Immigration that has most of what you'll need. There's a few links here, and the tabs will help you navigate.

The sponsorship link is pretty self explanatory.

The most important thing about this process is to get the paperwork right. The visa particularly needs to be right. You'll see a lot of ads saying "have the right to work in Australia", and it's probably the first question you'll be asked.

Have a look on the net for "jobs in Australia". There are quite a few sites which will give you a look at what's available, wages, and you can apply online.

This is one of the big sites, SEEK:

The other things you need to be absolutely sure about are commuting, accommodation, and covering costs. It's worth checking out prices for all these, and make sure you have enough Australian dollars on hand for your essential costs before you arrive.

It's all a bit like travel bookings. Pretty simple, just make sure it gets done right.

Have a nice holiday.

Are you studying something at school that might be able to gain you an internship of some sort? If so, try that first. You might be able to get help from the college career office.
