Hi,

Please help Fired as retaliation!

I am a 30 years old lady staying with my daughter. My husband and I got divorced 2 years ago. At present I have been working as a sales executive in an insurance company. My problem starts after joining this company. My boss wanted to use me sexually. But I refused his offer. Since then he had been very rude to me and often insulted me in front of others for no mistake. He threatened to fire me inspite of my good work. I was running out of money. I did not want to leave job at any cost.

At last he fired me for no good reason.Recently someone advised me to take help from EEOC websites to file a charge against my boss.

Please tell me how I can file a charge?

Is there a cost for filing a charge?

What information should I have to file a charge against a private sector employer?

From my point of view, you are entitled to sue if: you have the good arguments (he fired you for no reasons, you believe the reason is illegal - you didn't response to his advances etc etc) and you need to back up those arguments (witnesses - colleagues, former employees fired for the same reasons, former events of the same type - your boss being accused of sexual harassment etc).
