Hey hows it going guys im applying for a games tester job and was just wondering what you guys thought of my answer to why i want the job and stuff....
I wish to apply for this job as a games tester because i believe the gaming industry is one of the most exciting and innovative industrious on the job market today ,also it is an employment which I could see my self having a long career in as i feel the industry is still in its infant stages and has so much more to give , it would give me immense satisfaction to be a part of the games industry and to provide a thorough service to the gaming community. I have experience with working as a part of a successful team in varied working environments , i feel i am a great team player with the ability to listen and follow instructions i am honest reliable and willing to learn .

I think that is a good beginning for the interview, but you really need to talk about your skills. They obviously know what a great job it is, as they work at it everyday. You also need to talk about your writing skills. Being a game tester does not mean you just sit around all day and play video games. It is your job to play the game until you are sick to keep playing it, and find every single bug, cheat, and problem with the game. You then have to write a huge report detailing all these bugs, and what you liked about the game, and what you thought needed to be improved. People with this type of job that I have heard talk about it, thought it would be great at the beginning, but they said its really hard work, and really requires a lot of writing...
