Hi to all
My name is Dimitris, greek in origin, living in the Netherlands the last 11 years.
I have recently lost my job as a senior learning consultant because of the financial crisis and find myself at a loss. It is almost impossible to get a job in the Netherlands now, i have huge bank depths and trying to discover what really i'm capable of doing.
Any ideas, tips would be extermely appreciated.
Cheers
Dimitris |

Check this out, in Rotterdam: http://www.rsm.nl/home/execed/our_people/learning_consultants
I hope that isn't the one you just lost, but you can check with other employers like these easily enough. Cold canvassing can find you a few job leads relatively quickly.
You have one advantage working for you here: You're in the EU. Your qualifications are recognized across the EU. That means you can probably pick up something in the UK, at your level.
I don't know if this ad's current or not, but the site may be helpful, and so may the phone number: http://www.freshfieldservices.co.uk/apply.asp?JobUID=354
If nothing else, the salary range looks like it's what you need, and these people offer jobs in that bracket, so might be worth a look.
Government jobs are another possibility. You can check with education departments and their various offshoots about positions. It's advisable to narrow down your job search, and stay tuned to areas like this where turnover produces opportunities. |
