Hi edisona
Welcome to CV Tips!
You know, you could make a great career out of this love of kids, if you get yourself some training, too.
If you've done work experience, you can go to other nurseries, and ask them about how to get a job, and how to start your training.
The quick way is to just pick up the phone, ring around, and find out what you need to do. You can check out any casual work or maybe even full time jobs.
This really can be a big career. Child care is a hugely important sector in service industries these days, and there's a real demand for people. London's a big place, too, so you've got a lot of options.
Start with the nurseries closest to you, and be a bit patient.
You could wind up with a job, and a whole new career, overnight!
Good luck, and I'm sure some of the others will have some ideas for you, too. |

hi Edisona
first of all can i just say thats really nice of you bringing your younger sister up, it must have been so hard.
you know, you can go to college & study child care, & because your 16 its free.
i went to college & was on a child care course, its really good. i was half way threw my level 1 but i had to leave college. you can go to college for your first year to get your level 1, & whilst studying your entitled to 3 days in a work place so you could choose to work in a school or a nursey as volunteer work. you will also be entitled to £30 a week ema, so why not take advante of that free training, you will beable to do something you love doing whilst studying to get that possition of where you want to be if that makes sense, why not give it a shot eh ? i mean you dont have to take my advice but im just giving the best advice i can & aslo trying to help other people who are in the same situation as me.
thanks for reading.
reply if you can.
