If you lpan to switch from full time to part time employments ... than your current employer is a good start !

Part time jobs are not always advertised and you local garage can be looking for a young student to wash cars.

MY first part time job was lawn mowing for 10 of my neighbours ....

Industires like restaurrants, hotels etc ... are also good my next one was working at Burger King ... although i do not believe in globalistaion a $ is a $ so I had to go for it.

Now I am a graphics designer and I have a part time job online drawing graphics for foreign companies ...

I love having that extra income !!!! Hawaii here I come !

Some people even get a first job and keep it for many years. Some people have jobs waiting for them, as people come to them and ask them if they want to work for them.

Here's some good ideas for part time jobs or starting jobs, or for some, jobs they could stay a long time at:

Dry Cleaners (Mom & Aunt did that when they first started)
Cleaning Toilets (Friend did that)
Washing sheets at a hospital (Aunt did that)
Cook/Dishwasher/Waitresses - many people do that
Dog babysitter (I do that all the time for my dogs)
Dog Walker (Go to the local Animal Shelter, there are jobs there for people that are of such as to clean cages, feed animals, walk animals, etc., some volunteer jobs and some paid positions)
Cleaning houses (I did that, Mom did that, Aunt did that)
Babysitting (Who hasn't done that)

If you search for jobs that you can do from home, you'll find that there really are some great opportunities out there which offer flexible schedules. Just have to be patient.

Lots of luck! Smile

I believe that part time jobs can be practiced till you are old enough to make a family.I don't imagine a father with 2 kids at home working part time at a garage washing cars or selling burgers. These jobs are for young people who want to have some extra bucks to those given by their parents.

Wel, I guess what you are doing at the moment can be called the perfect part time job for you can it now? Networking is one good way of finding such a job.

I'll share my expereinces with part time jobs and how I've got them.Like I said before I'm a law student and I didn't found work in the field so I've started looking for part time jobs in newspapers and on internet and I didn't found anything, luckly with 2 friends of mine who have a construction firm and they've hired me for a month. So frm my experience I can advice you to search a friend who has a firm and is looking for some "hand of work".

Part time jobs can be found in the hospitality & tourisim industries, in addition to many companies that do not require a certain position to be filled full time. Also try contract positions.

there are lots of online part-time job ideas also, l think it really depends on what you enjoy, you can try places like tesco if you want to meet and serve people, a visit to your local job centre can also bring up opportunities, also buy your local newspapers, they will most likely have advertised part-time opportunities also....
