ok i live in the uk and havnt had wrok for 4 year due to personal problems,

i would love to go back to work, but im not sure if my cv is right for the job im applying for

here is a little details of my cv:

Work history

Jan 2004 – may 2004 McDonalds Wakefield
Crew Member
• Taking customer orders and serving customers, ensuring a high standard Of service
• Dealing with payments using an electronic till
• General cleaning of restaurant and kitchen area
• Following strict health and safety and food hygiene regulations


Oct 2003 – Jan 2004 Labour Ready Wakefield
Various
• Working via an employment agency, I worked on a range of contracts, job roles included:
• Postal Clerk
• General Construction Labourer
• Customer Service based roles


Mar 2003 – Sept 2003 Super pound Wakefield
Sales Assistant
• Providing a high standard of service when serving customers
• Cash handling and use of electronic till
• Shelf replenishment

Education/ Qualification

1995 - 2000 Highfield School Wakefield
Educated to GCSE standard,
I studied the following subjects,

Interests
For the majority of my spare time, I build small websites for my own pleasure, I enjoy testing new mmorpg games, and I all so help build spare pc with friends, I also enjoy spending quality time with my girlfriend

i hav left out my name and number and address ect,

iv been trying to apply for web design - no look BTW and iv been trying to get interviews with data entry and small offcie work

could you post back and give me some advice if im going for the wrong job, my self convidence isnt that good,

You did not say what kind of job you were looking for, or I missed it? I think it looks ok overall, think it is fine. You may need to tailor it more for specific jobs that you apply to.

i would love to get into web design but my html skills are limited

but if training was offerd or needed i would take the offer

If you have IT skills then I would say go ahead and apply for this field,a nd either take it upon yourself to study HTML independently so you can pick up what you need to know, or see if your company, once hired, offers any training or tuition reimbursement for school. In the IT field, HTML is pretty basic so you may have to take it upon yourself to learn the basics for now.

you see i do have the basic of html... as i mess around with it every day, and im trying to learn php.

but every time i try and get a interview for this field i get asked why im not self employed,ect

or they dont employ me because iv hade 4 years off work

or im not skilled enough.... so realy im in a never ending situation
