Hi all,

Since I want to try my luck in the new labor market and I am very interested in social websites( Facebook, twitter..), I want to find a new job via these web sites.

But I do not know what the appropriate information is? Of course, I want to hide my drunken photograph, and I aslo want to hide all my joking posted at Facebook. I wan to redecorate my Facebook so that the potential employers can see the only appropriate things in me.

Could anyone here has the advise?

Thank you very much for reading,

Huy

The social websites are a bit overrated as job sites, in my opinion. When you have a look at the number of jobs vs. the number of people on those sites, not a lot happens.

To use Facebook as a job asset:

1. As you said, get rid of anything which looks bad.
2. Dress it up as a professional page in your line of work. Really try to make it look good.
3. Add things like your CV, any work-related information, etc. (Don't put on too much personal identification, though. Name only. Nothing anyone could use for identity theft.)
4. If you've got any family photos, or other things, add those. Don't make it look to obvious that you're using your Facebook page as a recruiting poster.
